JWP - Single Stage Fresh Water Generator

The JWP series converts seawater to freshwater by vacuum distillation for use on ships and rigs or at remote onshore locations. This single-stage automatic series is ideal for capacities from 0.5 to 35 m3/24 h and, upon request, up to 100 m3/24 h.

Alfa Laval freshwater generators utilize the waste heat generated by the main engine and/or the auxiliary engine as a heat source for the distillation process.

The range of Alfa Laval Plate Type Freshwater Generators covers capacities from 0.5 to 115 m3 fresh water per 24 hours with a guaranteed maximum salinity of 2.0 ppm.

JWP freshwater generator range

Designed for automatic operation with continuous control of freshwater quality, the Alfa Laval JWP freshwater generator range comprises:

JWP-16 freshwater generator for capacities from 0.5 to 10 m3/24 h, depending on the heating medium and cooling water temperatures

JWP-26 freshwater generator for capacities from 4 to 35 m3/24 h, depending on the heating medium and cooling water temperatures.

We offer new renovated Fresh Water Generators

That means a totally remanufacturing.

When we remanufacture a Fresh Water Generator we strip it totally down and all parts will be sandblasted.

All plates in heater and condenser are chemically cleaned, crack tested, and any bad plates will be replaced, and mounted with new gaskets.

All other gaskets and bolts are replaced aswell.

The outside of the Fresh Water Generator is primed and painted with a two component paint.
