Alfa Laval Moatti Back Flushing Filter Spare Parts

In a mineral oil treatment system, for diesel engines, the Alfa Laval Moatti Filter is installed primarily to prevent particles, in the oil, from entering the engine. The Moatti filter consists of the following parts: the filter housing, the filtering unit and distributor, and hydraulic motor.

The main difference between a filter and a centrifugal separator is that a filter separates the impurities according to size, while a separator works with the density difference between the impurities and the oil.

Moatti Filter is very effective in filtering lubricating oil, which is used in crosshead engines and trunk piston.
